When Sibyl's mother came down with a horrible illness, she was taken to clerics to be healed. It worked but put them into immense debt. Sibyl had to take out a loan in her name to pay for the clerical bills. Though she works tirelessly for The Ledger Gazette, it did not pay enough. In search of help, she caught wind through sketchy sources that there was a way to forgive all worldly debts. Because of this, she put her name on a list. A few weeks later, she received an invite with a guest pass to the Feywild.

Through the events of Veil's Masquerade she was killed and resurrected as a ghost.
