Quegrass

Quegrass was a very proficient monk. But he always had a persistent chill that he couldn't shake. So, he decided the best course of action would be to track down and kill a powerful fire creature and graft their heart into their body. A very reasonable course of action.

The process was successful, but now he felt too hot. So, of course, he tracked down a powerful ice creature and killed it. Grafting the creature's ice heart into his body.

Now Quegrass is at the perfect temperature and has three hearts. His original heart, and two powerful elemental hearts. He even got some cool ice and fire powers, which, coupled with his monk abilities, made him incredibly formidable.

This unnatural process had unintended consequences, causing him to act differently. He found himself acting a little bit more like an animal than a person. He now seeks a fourth heart, one that will balance out the animal within him.
